Is the North Pole cam really live?
The camera shows what's happening in Santa's workshop around the clock. Elves work in shifts, so you may catch busy moments or quiet ones — just like a real workshop.
When is the best time to watch?
Evenings are busiest: the elves finish their daily quota and load the conveyor. On December 24 the workshop empties — everyone moves to the sleigh hangar for takeoff, and the Santa Tracker takes over.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free, no sign-up. It works in any browser on phones, tablets and computers.
Which rooms can I watch?
Right now the mail room camera is live. Three more cameras — the toy workshop, the reindeer stable and Mrs. Claus's bakery — switch on as Christmas Eve approaches.
Why do the elves repeat the same movements?
Elf work is very rhythmical: sorting, stamping, wrapping. When you do something a million times a season, you get a perfect routine — that's why the workshop looks so wonderfully steady.
Can Santa see me through the camera?
No — the camera only works one way, from the North Pole to you. Santa knows kids are watching, though, and the elves sometimes wave toward the lens.
What happens on the camera on December 24?
The rooms empty out one by one: letters are packed, the sleigh is loaded, and the reindeer leave the stable. From that moment the Santa Tracker takes over and shows the flight live on the 3D globe.
How is this different from the Santa Tracker?
The live cam shows life inside the North Pole village all year. The Santa Tracker follows the sleigh across the world on December 24 and tells you when Santa reaches your city. Together they cover the whole story.
